Finishing up Foundations

Graham Construction has been working diligently on the footings and foundations for the new Elk Rapids High School gymnasium addition. The crew is finishing up all exterior foundations while Elmer's Crane and Dozer backfills the walls that have been completed. In the next several weeks we will be completing interior foundations, then the masonry walls will start going up.

On the other side of the building we have Comstock Construction taking care of all the demolition for the new Central Office space. Haggards Plumbing & Heating, TopLine Electric, and Ritsema Associates are getting everything put back together for the school year.

The picture above shows a portion of the new central office layout. The corridor, restroom, work room and conference space will soon take shape in this area.

Nearly all of the exterior wall for the central office had to be demolished and rebuilt (pictured above).
