Change on the Way for Elk Rapids School District

Contractors have been hard at work this fall at the Elk Rapids Middle School & High School Campuses.

The Sunrise Academy space has come together beautifully. This space was reinvented to provide students with a great spot to collaborate with each other, listen and learn, and excel in the classroom. The photos shown below highlight some of the new Sunrise Academy classroom that students and staff will be utilizing for their learning.

The gymnasium addition at Elk Rapids High School is starting to take shape with masonry walls being places on the north end of the site. Bay Masonry is working along the existing building to connect the school and the new addition together. Pictured Below:

New Look for the Elk Rapids Middle School (Shown Below):

Contractors have removed the necessary portions of the school to complete the first phase of the middle school project. This work will be completed in three phases in order to keep the school up and running for the school year. The first phase will be fully completed and moved into before the next phase begins.
