Construction pushes on even in the snowy conditions at the Elk Rapids Middle School & High School.

Pictured Below: The footings and foundations are being placed for phase 1 of construction at the Cherryland Middle School. Concrete crews use weather protection to make sure concrete is still able to properly cure while pouring in winter temperatures.

The new gymnasium addition at the Elk Rapids High School is starting to take shape. Block walls & structural steel is being placed.

In the pictures below you see plastic enclosures that are used in cold weather conditions, so that freshly set masonry block can be protected from direct cold wind and snow.

The newly relocated central office now has furniture and finishes complete. The administration staff will be getting settled in for a new year in their excellent new office spaces.

Happy Holidays!
